Knight!Link X Commoner!Reader

Link sighed as he patrolled around castle town once more. His life had became quite a bore ever since Princess Zelda appointed him to be a knight. He wanted to explore the world as he had before saving the Princess and Hyrule but he was stuck doing something he rather not.

“Ah!”

“I’m Sorry (Name)!”

You waved your hand at the kid who had knocked you over.

“It’s ok dear, you go and play with your friends!” You smiled at the little boy who grinned in appreciation at you and nodded before running of.

“Ah, what a sweet child…” You muttered. But then your eyes turned to the fallen basket near you and all its content on the dirt.

“Oh, this won’t do…” You muttered as you got on all four to pick up the fallen bread. As you reached out to grab the bread, an iron-clad hand came in the line of your sight and grabbed it for you.

“Here, Ma’am” You looked up at the person and saw the smiling face of a knight who was kneeling down in front of you with your fallen bread in one hand. He had his eyes closed and his head was tilted, the helmet on his head hid his hair but his rather peculiar eyebrows were still visible.

You felt heat creeping up your cheeks in embarrassment. You must look really bad in the situation for a knight to come and help you. You smiled as you took the bread from his hands.

“Thank you Mr. Knight!” You said, somewhat grinning. The knight opened his eyes to reveal beautiful ocean blue orbs. He nodded his head as he himself grinned.

You noticed that he hadn’t recoiled his hand and placed your hand in his. He helped you stand up before he nervously placed his hand on the back of his head.
You let out a small giggle at his behavior. He was acting like a 10 year old shy kid. Your giggling made his heart beat faster as he found himself even more embarrassed.

You looked down and saw your basket next to your feet. Before you could even think about picking it up. The knight picks it up and pushes it in front of your face. You smile as you grab it and thanked him again.
You stood there awkwardly, not knowing what to do. A part of you wanted to go and buy another bread piece since the one you bought was no longer edible but another part of you wanted to thank the helpful Knight in some way. After a short while of thinking you couldn't come up with any ideas and decided that you were running a bit behind schedule.

You turned back to the Knight and saw that he was still standing there with his hand behind his neck,  fiddling with his feet. Come to think of it... did the young boy even utter a word to you...?

"Thank you once again, Mr. Knight." You started. His gorgeous blue eyes met yours making you smile unconscious. You turned you body back in the direction, doing a 290° turn, you head still facing the young man.
"But now I must go and buy bread once again." The Knight grinned and nodded in reply.
"Until next time, Mr. Knight." And with that you completed your u-turn and headed back to the bakery.

"Goodbye Ma'am!" You heard the young man exclaim somewhat childishly which immediately made you grin. So he did speak, his voice was high pitched, excited yet it held some sort of wisdom, as if he had been through a lot.
Though oddly enough the voice really complimented his eyes. His eyes also held the same emotions as his voice.

You shook your head as if doing that eleven make stop thinking about the handsome man. You looked down at the dirt filled bread in your hand and thought about what to do with it.
You eyes lit up and a sudden smile crossed you lips as you decided what's going to happen to the inedible piece of food. Cocos! Here you come!
On the other as the pretty lady Link helped walked away, he couldn't stop smiling a goofy smile at her.
